Job Description
This individual is responsible for reviewing pole owners and our clients internal pole database, and EZ-Load pole loading analysis to chronicle 20 data points in accordance with a state-mandated facilities audit (data points supplied below). This is a remote, full time, contract position . There will not be engineering required, but the individual will need to have an idea of what is on a utility pole to pull the proper data points and know what they are looking for.
1. Attachment Location on Pole Location of attachment on pole (e.g., within comm. zone, pole top, cross arm, pole mount, etc.). Text
2. Pole Attachment Elevation Expressed in feet and inches from ground. Numeric Value Phase 2
3. Attachment Description e.g., cable, messenger, antenna, service drop, electric utility equipment, etc. Text
4. Attachment Dimensions Detailed information specifying the size of the attachment. For cables and conductors, the gauge of the cable must be provided. Text
5. Attachment Weight Weight of attachment. For cables, the weight per linear foot must be provided. Numeric Value
6. Grade of Construction Grade of construction As specified in Section IV of GO 95. Text Phase 2
7. Conductor Tension Tension of the conductor, cable, messenger or equivalent. Numeric Value Phase 2
8. Cable Tensile Strength Tensile strength of the conductor, cable, messenger, or equivalent. Numeric Value Phase 2
9. Cable Average Span Length Average span length of the conductor, cable, messenger, or equivalent. Numeric Value Phase 2

12. Bending Moment due to the Attachment Calculation of the pole bending moment caused by the load added to the pole by the attachment at the time it was installed or modified. Text
Responsibilities
- Tech savy- experience in PG&E (JUMP is the software) ATT, or Frontiers database a major plus.
- Knowledge of what pole load analysis is a plus, EZ-Load will be the reports they
- Joint-use background

Qualifications
- Telecom Industry background (knowledge of ATT and/or PGEs internal system a major plus)
- Joint-use knowledge
- Motivated self-starter
- Strong computer skills (Excel, dropbox, systems, and PDF)
