Job Description
Inspector duties will include without limitation: unit inventory and placement, inspection and verification to assure work performed by the contractor meets work print, specifications, quality standards, safety standards, and adheres to the construction schedule and work assignment completion dates; providing inspection notes, redline drawings, daily inspection notes, weekly progress reports; and providing any documentation required for the cost effective placement of communications facilities as required.
The Inspector will be responsible to ensure that all of the client’s underground and aerial plant facilities meet the current standards
Qualifications:
- Previous experience performing NESC inspections or experience working on an aerial cable line crew is preferred.
- Previous experience performing wooden pole Groundline inspections.
- Familiarity with the National Electric Safety Code.
- Computer experience is a must.
- Good communication skills.
- Personal time management and organization skills.
- Construction contractor management skills.
- A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel on short notice. Height stick and wheel required.
