Scott Demming serves as the Vice President of Strategy & Business Intelligence at Mountain Ltd. With more than 28 years of experience in telecommunications and utility engineering, Scott has built a career around translating operational complexity into clear strategy, with particular depth in outside plant (OSP) fiber, FTTP, MDU engineering, permitting, and pole data programs.
In his current role, Scott partners with clients to navigate complex build challenges, leveraging technology and analytics to improve capital efficiency and accelerate build timelines. He leads strategic planning and business optimization across the organization and helps spearhead Mountain’s AI Council to vet and prioritize practical AI and automation opportunities that drive measurable client and operational impact.
Prior to joining Mountain Ltd., Scott held senior leadership roles at CenturyLink, Ziply Fiber, and Track Utilities, contributing to large-scale fiber deployment programs and the operational frameworks that supported them. A U.S. Navy submarine veteran, Scott is based in Sherwood, Oregon, where he enjoys traveling and woodworking outside of work
