 This is a full-time job, helping with fielding and designs for internet delivery.  Construction in Telco is good if the candidate has some design experience. Otherwise, OSP design experience is preferred. 

OSP ENGINEER HOURLY. This individual The OSP Engineer performs detailed outside plant facility engineering tasks that include estimating, analyzing, designing, planning, and budget tracking estimates against actual costs for copper and fiber cables, poles, and direct buried and conduit systems. This position is responsible for preparing and interpreting engineering plans, drawings, and reports; preparing loop loss design for load and repeater electronics, planning and designing field-mounted switch serving areas, perform pole, conduit and buried facility design measurements to support company and industry OSP design standards and economic feasibility studies. This position is responsible for specific job budget development and tracking. This position is responsible for periodic job inspections and quality control. 
Qualifications:
•    Ability to identify existing telephone plant, electric, and other utilities on the site plans as well as in the field
•    Ability to indicate existing telephone plant location and relocate facilities and knowledge of obtaining right of ways and easements where required
•           Must have experience managing other OSP Engineers and reviewing/correcting their projects
•    Expert in obtaining right of ways and easements where required
•    Must be capable of engineering routine and specific COE/OSP work orders, including more complex projects including road moves
•    Must have expert knowledge of COE/OSP principles, work order procedures, telephone industry standards, PC applications, and COE/OSP record and/or computer-aided drafting systems
•    Must have own tools such as a measuring wheel, height stock, pull finder, laptop, etc.
•    Experience with the local networks 
•    Ability to perform quality control on engineering work for other members of the team
