Mountain Ltd. is looking for an NESC Inspector in the Redmond / Bend, OR area

Job Duties:
- The NESC Inspector is primarily responsible to ensure that all of the client’s underground and aerial plant facilities meet the current NESC standards through auditing all NESC inspections, and corrections work performed by contractors.
- The NESC Inspector is expected to manage all imminent danger Priority A condition violations. The duties include performing the preliminary inspection, identification of the most likely correction, issuing the correction to the approved contractor/engineer/arborist, auditing the correction work or rework, and reporting the completed correction.
- The NESC Inspector is also expected to manage all foreign owned Pole Transfers (PT’s). The duties include performing the preliminary inspection, identifying if the pole is ready for transfer, referring poles not ready for transfer to engineering or other utilities, issuing the pole transfer to the approved contractor, auditing the completed transfer, and reporting the completed transfer.
- The NESC Inspector will document all inspections, audits, and pole transfers electronically, and be expected to communicate via email, and cellular phone. At times it may be necessary to perform in
Qualifications:
- Strong computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
- Computer Literacy, multi-tasking, problem solving, strong verbal communications.
- Experience working in a technical environment where you are required to follow detailed complex methods and procedures.
- Must be analytical, detail oriented, and conscientious of your work.
- Excellent Communications Skills
- Ability to work with little supervision
