Chief Operating Officer
As Chief Operating Officer, April Metivier directs and manages all operational divisions of MOUNTAIN, LTD.™. Since joining MOUNTAIN in 1999, she has been instrumental in the growth of the organization into the nationally respected engineering services and staffing solutions provider it is recognized as today.
April joined MOUNTAIN as a Technical Recruiter, rapidly assuming sales responsibilities and receiving MOUNTAIN’s “Circle of Excellence” award as outstanding Recruiter of the Year in 2000. She was subsequently promoted to Operations Manager, then Vice President of Operations and ultimately appointed Chief Operating Officer of MOUNTAIN, LTD.™ in 2006.
April’s direct stewardship of MOUNTAIN’s daily operations have her working closely with clients, continually building strong relationships with corporate executives of major telecommunications firms across the US. Her deep commitment to a superior level of service drives April to uphold the highest quality standards.
During her tenure at MOUNTAIN, April has guided the company through acquisitions, continuous revenue growth and receipt of accolades such as being named “Best Places to Work” for six consecutive years. April was also responsible for MOUNTAIN earning the distinction of being the first personnel service firm in North America to achieve ISO 9001:2008 certification with TL 9000 registration, specific to the telecommunications industry.
April’s leadership roles expand beyond MOUNTAIN to telecommunications and staffing industry organizations. Since 2004, April has served the Telephone Association of New England (TANE) on the Network Operations Committee (NOC), receiving the prestigious “Special Service Award” for outstanding service and commitment. April also served as President of the Board of the Northern New England Association of Personnel Services (NNEAPS).
April is a graduate of Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia with a double major in Psychology and Spanish. She has held her Certified Temporary Staffing Specialist (C.T.S.) designation from the National Association of Personnel Services (N.A.P.S.) since 2000.
